Summer Professional Learning for New Opportunity Culture® Educators

Description: For this credential, participants attend a professional learning course that prepares school leaders and educators who are new to the Multi-Classroom Leader®(MCL™), Master Team Reach Teacher™ (MTRT™), and Reach Associate™ roles, providing leadership and instructional strategies for success. 001-S signifies that the recipient served in a speaking role to share their expertise.

Description: This course introduces High-Quality Instructional Materials, or HQIM—what it means, why it matters, and how it drives student success. Participants explore the role of teacher-leaders and coaches in strong implementation, assess their current position on the HQIMM spectrum, and map out next steps to make high-quality materials and methods a lasting part of their instructional vision.

Description: For this credential, participants explore what it means to monitor and adjust instruction and why it’s essential for student learning. Participants will learn strategies for planning flexible lessons, adapting to learner needs, and analyzing instructional choices to support growth. This course is designed for educators, leaders who support teachers, and district teams working to refine data-driven practices.

Description: For this credential, participants learn to break down priority standards into clear skills, knowledge, and concepts. Using the Lesson Internalization Tool, they plan tasks and assessments aligned to mastery expectations, anticipate misconceptions, and design supports and extensions. The process applies across roles—teachers, coaches, and leaders—to strengthen collaborative planning and improve student learning.

The Science of Reading, Course Partipant

Description: In this series, participants build a research-based understanding of how children learn to read. Through mutiple modules, participants will explore decoding, language comprehension, and reading comprehension; examine myths and misconceptions; compare balanced and structured literacy; and learn explicit strategies to support comprehension across content areas. The series concludes with tools and action steps to strengthen reading instruction across classrooms and teams.
