District-Level Staffing Design Workshop

Our two-day district-level workshop is scheduled for the following dates, from 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET.

  • February 18–19, 2026
  • March 18–19, 2026
  • April 14–15, 2026
  • May 6–7, 2026

Along with these interactive sessions for department leaders, a district team gets eight coaching calls and online support, and an annual subscription to the Opportunity Culture® online portal. Learn more below!

School-Level Staffing Design Workshop

The two-day school-level workshop* will be offered on the following dates, from 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET.

  • March 24–25, 2026
  • April 29–30, 2026
  • May 26–27, 2026

Along with the interactive sessions for a team of educators and leaders from each school, school teams get two coaching calls to finalize their plans, an annual subscription to the Opportunity Culture® online portal, and the opportunity to assert for Opportunity Culture® certification status. *Note: District must participate or have previously participated in the district-level design for school to be eligible for this workshop.

District-Level Workshop

District teams will:

  • Determine which Opportunity Culture® models and roles fit their needs
  • Determine sustainable stipends for each role
  • Learn about funding resources for sustainability
  • Learn and discuss recruitment strategies for the roles
  • Determine the roles’ selection process
  • Determine the roles’ evaluation and accountability processes
  • Network and collaborate with leaders from other districts

What is included?

  • Two full-day, virtual sessions
  • Eight coaching calls for the district leader or designated team member to support the design process.  Public Impact® coach will also provide 1:1 support per district team during the design workshop.
  • Annual subscription to the Opportunity Culture® portal, which provides asynchronous modules, tools, and templates to support design, and the ability to monitor the district’s design and implementation.

Cost: $51,100 per district team

Who should participate?

District design teams should include up to 10 decision-makers from these departments:

  • human resources
  • curriculum and instruction
  • accountability
  • finance
  • communications

Each district design team should designate a leader to guide them through work time and prework for the sessions, and to serve as the primary point of contact for their Public Impact® coach.

School-Level Workshop

School teams will:

  • Draft a full-implementation staffing plan that reaches all students and teachers with Opportunity Culture® teaching teams
  • Draft a transition staffing plan based on current priorities and data
  • Create schedules for the Opportunity Culture® teaching team roles
  • Plan school-level selection process for Opportunity Culture® roles
  • Discuss implementation best practices and pitfalls
  • Assert for certification

What is included?

  • Two full-day, virtual sessions
  • Two coaching calls for the school team to support finalizing their school plan
  • Annual subscription to the Opportunity Culture® portal, which provides asynchronous modules, tools, and templates to support and review the design process and principles; the ability to monitor school implementation compared to other schools in the district; and high-impact, on-demand professional learning and practical tools for educators.

Cost: $5,020 per school team

Who should participate?

School design teams should be comprised of 3–6 representatives, including:

  • the school leader—to lead the team through work time and prework for the workshops;
  • teachers from a variety of grade levels or subject areas;
  • and counselor or staff member responsible for school-wide scheduling.

The school’s Public Impact® coach will provide 1:1 support for the school team during the design workshop.

Benefits

At the end of the workshop series, school teams can submit their plans to receive Certified Opportunity Culture School® status. With Opportunity Culture® certification and validation, schools can:
