School-Year Professional Learning
Educators can develop their leadership and instructional skills in virtual sessions throughout the year
During the school year, we offer professional learning sessions to help your educators in Opportunity Culture® roles succeed, timed to address topics and needs as they are likely to arise throughout the year. These engaging sessions, grounded in adult learning principles and research-based content, bring educators across the country together to build their foundational knowledge for the roles while sharing their talents and experience through group reflection, collaboration, and problem-solving. We provide professional learning sessions for:
- high-performing teachers ready to transition into team leadership roles through our Instructional Leaders Labs
- school leaders and teacher-leaders looking to empower their leadership via virtual coaching support
- school leaders, teacher-leaders in the Multi-Classroom Leader® (MCL™) role, and paraprofessionals in the Reach Associate™ (RA™) role, through tailored trainings geared to your site’s needs.
Instructional Leaders Lab: Observation & Coaching
Overview: The Instructional Leaders Lab is a three-month, hands-on professional learning experience designed for aspiring teacher-leaders, to build the core practices of observation and feedback. Through five sessions offered in winter and spring, participants learn how to observe classrooms with precision, collect low-inference data, and identify the highest-leverage action steps to improve teaching and learning.
Who Should Attend: Aspiring teacher-leaders who want to sharpen their ability to see instruction clearly and respond with purpose
2027 Session Dates: 1—February 10; 2—February 24; 3—March 10; 4—March 24; 5—April 14; Panel—April 28
Time: All sessions are 4:35–6:30 p.m. ET, designed to fit alongside full-time teaching responsibilities
Cost: $1,050 per person for five sessions, culminating with an experienced Multi-Classroom Leader® panel

Instructional Leaders Lab+: Complete Instructional Cycle
Overview: In eight monthly sessions offered throughout the school year, the Instructional Leaders Lab+ builds on the core practices of observation and feedback covered in the Instructional Leaders Lab with planning and data-driven instruction practices to further strengthen learning results, finishing with a capstone project.
Who Should Attend: Educators stepping into or strengthening teacher-leader roles, to lead a team’s instructional improvement at a deeper level
2026–27 Session Dates: 1—Sept.15, 2026; 2—Oct. 20; 3—Nov. 10; 4—Dec. 8; 5—Jan. 19, 2027; 6—Feb. 23; 7—March 9; 8—April 20; Capstone Project Due May 28, 2027
Time: All sessions are 5:05–7:00 p.m. ET, designed to fit alongside full-time teaching responsibilities
Cost: $2,000 per person for eight sessions, culminating in a final capstone evaluation

Virtual School Leader Coaching
Empower your leadership with our virtual coaching services!
Virtual school leader coaching provides personalized, on-the-job support for principals as they implement Opportunity Culture® staffing and instructional design. Coaching helps leaders navigate the “how” of execution, addressing challenges and building capacity for instructional leadership. This service accelerates learning, reduces implementation hurdles, and empowers leaders to foster excellent teaching and student achievement in their schools. This service is ideal for those who need personalized support, lack a district-level leadership coach, or face implementation challenges.
Overview: 1:1 coaching support
Cost: $2,965 per cycle
Duration: Seven touchpoints with a coach over two to three months
Who Should Attend: Principals leading schools using distributed leadership models
Benefits: Coaching can enhance educational leadership, foster professional growth, provide emotional and professional support, ensure accountability, and drive school improvement

Virtual MCL™ Educator Coaching
Virtual MCL™ educator coaching provides personalized, on-the-job support for Multi-Classroom Leader® educators as they lead planning meetings, data discussions, and coaching conversations. Coaching focuses on building MCL™ educators’ capacity to navigate the “how” of these critical leadership tasks, addressing challenges, and enhancing their skills in guiding teams toward improved instruction and outcomes. This service accelerates MCL ™ educators’ development, reduces common implementation hurdles, and empowers them to drive excellent teaching and increase student achievement across their teams.
Overview: 1:1 coaching support for educators in Multi-Classroom Leader® role
Cost: $2,390 per cycle
Duration: Seven touchpoints with a coach over two to three months
Who Should Attend: Educators in teacher-leadership roles
Benefits: Coaching can enhance educational leadership, foster professional growth, provide emotional and professional support, ensure accountability, and drive school improvement
