Multi-Classroom Leadership with Students and Teachers at Home

School Model

Model [Working Draft]  |  Slide Deck [Working Draft]

This detailed model explains how to organize roles and schedules and other key elements when all students and teachers must work from home, with detailed schedule examples. The slide deck provides a briefer overview of considerations and recommendations for Opportunity Culture® schools to continue achieving high-growth student learning and developing students’ critical social-emotional skills, and to continue providing strong support to teaching teams. These resources suggest high-connection and lower-connection learning options, review the shifts needed in technology and instruction, and provide a basic action planner. Public Impact® will continue to update this model and the half-at-home model as fast-moving events and experience related to COVID-19 warrant.
